ABSTRACT

Corporate social responsibility (CSR) represents a complex topic both at European and at national level, which is expressed in manifold ways. Specifically, in the contexts of this paper and the bachelor’s degree programme Technical Sales and Distribution Management (Technisches Vertriebsmanagement - BTVM), options are considered to put CSR in relation to practical teaching. This in particular, since sales and - on a more general level - marketing constitute the central aspects of this study programme. The representative practical example of the course “Team Building” in the bachelor’s degree programme BTVM, where students are encouraged to carry out a social and sustainable project for a charitable organization, shows how CSR can be successfully integrated into teaching.
