The FH bfi Vienna offers excellent conditions to people without school-leaving exams who are interested in one of our bachelor's programmes. This is supposed to facilitate access to and transpareny of the education system (see § 4 Abs. 4 FHStG / Universities of Applied Sciences Act).

 

Relevant professional qualification can be proven by:

• Completion of a three-year secondary vocational school (e.g. commercial school, minimum three years) OR
• Completing a three-year apprenticeship in a profession that corresponds to one of the degree programmes OR
• the German advanced technical college entrance qualification in business (deutsche Fachhochschulreife)

 

Applicants with relevant professional qualification have to obtain additional qualifications before they can start their studies (also cf. § 4 Abs. 8 FHStG). The required exams (oral and written) will be held at the beginning of July at the FH bfi Vienna. Applicants will not be charged for these exams.

If you have certificates which do not comply with any of the qualifications above, please contact the FH bfi Vienna for an appointment (take your certificates with you for presentation). Sound German skills are an absolute prerequisite.
